Naples, FL Beach Family Session | Moorings Beach
I recently had the pleasure of photographing an extended family session on the beach in Naples, FL. The family was visiting from out of town and wanted to capture some memories of their time in Naples. They were open to recommendations on where to shoot as they wanted to do it on the beach and had 3 children ranging from newborn to 4 years old to consider. I suggested a spot that was perfect in the morning hours as the high-rise condos provide shade on the beach till about 10 am. They loved the idea of a morning session as they didn’t want to stretch any of their kids past their bedtimes, worry about naps, or feeding them dinner before the session. These is all great reasons to look at doing a morning beach session when in Naples. Another great reason is the beaches are virtually empty except for a few morning people going for walks, which is why I love suggesting morning sessions to just about anyone who wants beach photos.
We started the session on the beach as the condos provided the perfect amount of shade to keep everyone happy. I love how the open shade created a beautiful backdrop for the photos, making the beach look and feel like a hazy dream. I had such a great time photographing this family and especially loved it when the 4 year old decided that she should just jump into the water about 15 minutes into the session. The best part was everyone embarrassed her energy and I love how fun those moments made the session.
I am so happy with the photos from this session. They capture the love and connection between this family perfectly. I know they will cherish these photos for years to come.
