Emily & Chris opted for an intimate wedding ceremony at a private chalet in Lake Placid, ADK. They invited their closest family to surround them as they read their vows to each other on a foggy october evening. The mountains brought us rain for their day, moving their ceremony inside, but these adventurous souls were more than happy to ditch their umbrellas and get a little damp & muddy for their portraits, (our type of clients!). To top of the intimateness of their celebration, their family all brought homemade food to prep and cook while Chris & Emily helped each other get ready in the upstairs of the chalet. It was amazing to watch the generousness of their family unfold as they all contributed to the wedding in someway. Next year, we’ll be in the Adirondacks for quite a few weddings both in August and September and we’re still actively booking intimate weddings and elopements for remaining dates.
