Jon & Joylynn | St. Petersburg Hotel & Beach Resort Grand Plaza Florida Wedding Photographers

We are so excited to share this wedding. Brian & Jon have known each other since 10th grade in high school and have remained close friends since. (Jon was in our wedding party as well!). This was our first time photographing a wedding in Florida and we couldn’t have asked for a better couple to do so with. Jon & Joylynn are as sweet and loving as they come and to top it off, some of the most generous people we’ve ever met. We stayed the week with them in Tampa before hitting St. Pete’s beach for their wedding weekend. They held their rehearsal dinner at The Post Card Inn the night before where we had a wonderful celebration with friends & family.  The next morning they held an 11 am beach ceremony at the Grand Plaza Hotel & Beach Resort on St. Pete’s beach,  (which we will admit, scared us to be photographing at that time in the middle of summer on the beach). But then, that blue sky arrived. All of our fears were eased when we removed our shoes and felt the sand between our toes and saw the most perfect day we had been given.

We are so excited to share these photos! Jessie & Justin are two of the most awesome people alive on this planet and WE got to photograph their wedding day. When they first contacted us about traveling down to Lancaster, PA we were beyond excited. We’re always up for a fun road trip, especially in the fall. Jessie & Justin had a their wedding at Riverdale Manor in Lancaster, PA. This was our first time photographing a wedding at the Riverdale Manor and it was such a wonderful experience. The ceremony was held outside in the gazebo and the reception was held outside & inside. They  got married on a beautiful October evening and they couldn’t have gotten better weather. There are rooms on site for getting ready so photographing coverage all takes place in one place. The room is big and bright so it photographs wonderful and the grounds are amazing to photograph on, (We found an amazing ferngully tree and the light was at JUST the right angle).

We now travel for weddings so if you’re looking to get married in Lancaster, PA or at the Riverdal Manor, keep us in mind. We’ll be in Lancaster again in November 2014 so we can meet with potential clients then 🙂
