CORNING NEW YORK FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER – MINI FAMILY SESSION
I was thrilled when Alexandra Elise, another local talented film photographer, reached out! She wanted me to travel to Corning, New York to take her family photos on film. We became “insta friends” over the last couple of years, so finally meeting her and her family in person was wonderful. I always make sure I shoot a roll or two of black and white film at every session. Those images always end up being my favorite. So when Alexandra asked me to shoot the majority of her session on B&W, I was totally into it!
For me, black and white film images encompass everything I love about film photography. They are classic, they are raw, and they capture a nostalgic feeling that is unmatched by even color film. I love how this session turned out and it was so great meeting them as a family. Not to mention how adorable Theo is!
TRAVELING FILM FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER
Photographing families on film has become a passion of mine and all of my family sessions are now photographed exclusively on film. Family photography sessions are about 70 minutes on location somewhere, or at your home. The sessions include all edited, high-resolution images with reproduction release.
Because digital photography is so big right now, it can be hard to find a film family photographer in your area. The good news is, I travel! Our upcoming travel schedule is here, which includes: Los Angeles and Santa Monica in early and mid-October, Kauai, Hawaii in mid-October, Hudson Valley/Rhinebeck, New York in late October, Washington DC & Leesburg Virginia Area in November, and Naples, Florida in the winter!
