We are so excited to share Melody and Paul’s romantic Central Park and Dumbo Engagement session from our recent work-trip to New York City. We connected with Melody and Paul somewhat in a magical way- we were originally booked for their ever so popular wedding date of 7.8.18 when the couple we had booked needed to move their date due to a venue issue. We truly believe everything aligns the way it is supposed to and in this case, it did! We are so excited to work with Melody and Paul as their wedding photographers this summer. They are two of the kindest and genuine people you’ll ever meet AND they are full of all that good energy we love working with.
We photographed the first half of their engagement session in Central Park where the cherry blossoms had just come out and then moved to Dumbo for golden hour. In between, we got to ride a very crowded New York City subway during rush hour where we got to know Melody and Paul even better. It’s always great to connect and work with couple’s before their wedding day and the subway provided us with that extra time to chat.
What a beautiful evening it was! Here are a few of our favorites from their engagement session. And don’t let Melody fool you, it was actually VERY cold and windy that day and she was such a trooper at the end for those last romantic photos of the New York City Skyline. We love our time in New York City for this Dumbo Engagement session and we’re looking forward to coming back this fall and next year to photograph more weddings and engagements! If you’re looking for your New York City or Brooklyn wedding photographer, reach out and say hello! We love to travel.
