Shauna & Pat invited us to photograph their wedding at the Great Pines Lodge in Old Forge, Adirondacks. A few years ago we photographed our first wedding in the Adirondacks and since then, it has sort of become a home away from home for us. Old Forge is couple towns over from Inlet, another small Adirondack town we love to visit. We came up a day early to get settled in to our enchanting Adirondack airbnb, (which we highly recommend it for a pet and family friendly place), and spent the day exploring Old Forge for a little bit before Shauna & Pat’s big day, (and of course, we couldn’t leave without climbing Black Bear Mountain once!).
We’ve said it before, but Shauna and Pat are two of the most wonderful and genuine people we have ever had the pleasure of working with. We got the chance to meet up with them in NYC a month before their wedding, where we spent time exploring Brooklyn for their engagement session. After their engagement session ,we were even more excited to be a part of their day and to meet their family and friends. Before we knew it, the end of September was here and we found ourselves in the Adirondacks with the most beautiful fall day. Shauna & Pat’s wedding was everything we imagined and more and we are so excited to share a peek into their day.
