After Katie & Jacob got married on Whiteface Mountain near Lake Placid, we decided to stick around for a few portraits. The forecast was zero visibility, and when they warned us at the bottom of the mountain of what we’d be dealing with, we all smiled at each other with joy. We knew it was one of those photoesque opportunities that only came upon us ever so often. A wedding on top of one of the tallest mountains in NY, surrounded by pure cloud.
Now might be a cool time to mention, about two months ago we made a list of things we dreamed to photograph, (yes, we’re list makers & yes, we’re dreamers). Wedding on Top of a Mountain was on the very top of that list. A few weeks later, Kate & Jacob’s e-mail was sitting in our in box.
We have more dreams of traveling to many places and photographing weddings all over the world but for now we have our sites set on a few key locations: Maine and coast lined cities are at the new “top of the list” location.
