This is our 8th month since starting our ten on ten series. Its been fun for us to have a documentation of a day in our lives from every month and also a push in the direction to start exploring more personal work. For February’s 10 on 10, we focused on a day we spent in Key West (which was already almost 3 weeks ago!). Key West is unlike any other place we ever visited in the US. Chickens roam the streets, dogs are allowed in bars and restaurants, the vibe is friendly & relaxed & key lime pie is available at every corner.
For a few travel recommendations:
Once we arrived in Key West we found we did NOT need a car (if you’re staying somewhere around Duvall Street you can walk almost everywhere! Bikes are help ful but because we had the dogs we didn’t rent them. And we love walking anyway.
We tested as many different key lime pies as we could and the winning key lime pie for best crust & filling was Kermits.
Our best breakfast was at Blue Heaven, (which also had the best live music).
Best burrito was at Garbo’s Grill.
We highly recommend visiting Fort Zachary Taylor too for a picnic or a beautiful walk on the beach.

We’re already looking forward to returning sometime next year!
