Moriarty Family Session | Buffalo, NY
About 5 years ago a friend told us about this amazing butcher shop that was open on the west side of Buffalo called Moriarty Meats. We immediately made a trip from our North Buffalo home to go check it and since that day we were huge believers in their shop.
The Moriartys are passionate about providing their customers with the highest quality, locally-sourced meat. They source their meat from small, family-owned farms in New York State, and they butcher all of their meat in-house. What sets this butcher shop apart from others is their commitment to quality and sustainability.
When we found out they were moving to North Buffalo closer to where we live, we were even more excited! And then even better, after some renovations and a lot of love, they opened their beautiful and delicious cafe bar! To say that Moriarty Meats is a staple in the North Buffalo neighborhood is an understatement. It is a destination on the Buffalo New York Food Map for any foodies visiting from all over the world! I was so honored when Caitlin reached out for photos in the new North Buffalo Location before they welcomed their baby girl. It’s always a highlight to photograph a family as they are before they expand with another new baby and it was also so special to take photos in the Cafe Bar which is just beautifully designed
This has to be my favorite photo of the Moriarty Family I took. Choosing to document your family photos in the comfort of your home or business is always a good choice. The light coming in through the door was just beautiful. I love that they are interacting naturally in a space that they call home. I also love the feel of the timeless woodwork that is behind them.
I also love that the photo feels like it could have been taken 10, 20 0r even 50 years ago. It has that vibe of history is being made here and I truly believe it is with what Moriarty Meats is doing in Buffalo, New York.
