Back when we lived in Brooklyn, Fitz & Ashley were our lifeline; our city-family. We spent countless hours together, making pierogis, beer-milkshakes in the Mccarren Park, dinners at Sweetwater, shopping for and listening to old records, frequenting the Brooklyn Brewery, and let’s not forget catching the Buffalo Bills at the local backers’ bar. When we moved back to Buffalo, our friendship remained strong with frequent visits to NYC, them coming to Buffalo, & mini trips to other destinations in-between. With the arrival of their daughter, Emma Jean, our city-family has expanded to one more beautiful soul, and we couldn’t be more excited for them. We have a new, super adorable reason to visit the city, and hopefully, (our fingers crossed), a bigger reason for them to make longer and more frequent trips to Buffalo. We made a quick visit this past weekend to their new home in Jersey City to meet & photograph Emma Jean, catch up on life and all the good stuff in-between.
