Winter Engagement Session Buffalo New York
We’re so excited to share this post of Simone and Josh’s winter engagement session in Buffalo, New York. Brian started the engagement session in their home on the west side of Buffalo and then moved over to Tift Nature Preserve and Gallagher Pier to finish outside with the natural golden hour light. Brian photographed with a mix of film and digital, which is intermixed in the photos below.
Most of our clients prefer doing their engagement sessions in the spring or fall when the weather is a little more predictable, but there is something extra special about winter engagement sessions. There is a quietness everywhere and you pretty much have the whole outside to yourself. Also, there is always the chance of a light snow dusting, which adds to the scenery and creates a surreal scene.
We were so thankful to hear Simone and Josh were brave enough to embrace the cold winter and join Brian for their engagement session outdoors. We absolutely love how these photos turned out and are even more excited for their wedding now having worked with them! Enjoy our mini preview of their session!
