Tift Nature Preserve Family Session | Birsic Family Buffalo, NY
The Birsic family came across Shaw Photography Co. on Google, but after meeting them, we realized they live on the same street we used to live on before moving to North Buffalo! Our paths never crossed until their photo session, but what a small world!
The Birsics wanted a location that was filled with lush greenery, so we chose Tift Nature Preserve for their family photo session. Tift is located in South Buffalo about 5 minutes from downtown. The preserve offers miles of green trails as well as scenic boardwalks along the marsh and waterfront. It’s super family friendly and a great spot for an outdoor photo session in Buffalo.
The session took place at the end of August about 90 minutes before sunset. It was a very muggy, sticky summer day, so our session was only about 45 minutes long. We were all feeling the heat by the end of the session (even though you can’t really tell by looking at the photos), but everyone did great from start to finish, including their little one!
We strolled along the trails and captured photos of the family among the trees and tall grassy fields. I’m really happy with how this session turned out despite the hot August weather.
