Brittany and Brian got married in an intimate ceremony and reception held in Brian’s mother’s home in her beautiful backyard in Buffalo, New York. We travel for the majority of weddings we photograph, but it’s always nice to have a wedding within walking distance to our home in North, Buffalo. Brian was invited to photograph the celebration and was even asked to shoot some film in between photographing digitally.
Brittany wore an incredible Blush by Hayley Paige wedding gown, that had a nude lace bodice, and signature Hayley Paige criss-cross back. The skirt had layers and layers of sweeping tulle, that was just stunning to photograph. She kept the accessories simple with an elbow-length veil, and pearl accessories. Brian wore a custom suit from Hugo Boss. We love his choice of the duo-colors, with a blue jacket and black pants.
Fern Croft created Brittany’s beautiful bouquet and Brian’s boutonniere. Her bouquet featured wildflowers, peonies and eucalyptus (which smelled amazing!) The chuppah was a work of art! It had draped fabric, and layers of white wisteria hanging down. It really complimented their backyard garden theme. Catering was provided by the local Buffalo Chiavettas, who always have the most delicious food.

Brittany and Brian had many DIY details, from both them and their family and friends. Their Aunt Lisa made the cake, which was three tier and had fresh flowers on it. For wedding favors, the couple had handmade soap, which is such a unique gift! Having the wedding in the backyard of Brian’s mothers home really made the event so special, and intimate.
