What a beautiful and intimate way to end our wedding photography season! We love photographing weddings in the Adirondacks! We are so excited to share this beautiful fall elopement that Brian photographed on top of Rocky Mountain near Inlet, Adirondacks. It was a perfect way to end our year! We are always more than excited to photograph last minute weddings. “Last minute wedding,” you ask? How last minute was this elopement on Rocky Mountain?
Lindsay and Joseph reached out to us on August 26th, with hopes of us photographing their elopement in early October. They had recently moved to Buffalo and knew they wanted to elope somewhere secluded, with beautiful scenery & incorporating the fall colors. Since they were new to the area they were also looking for suggestions of places that fit their non-traditional, stress-free and adventurous relationship.
“Are we too last minute?” they asked.
Within an hour we had an e-mail typed back to them with information. Dates, rates, location options, local vendors they could trust, and a warm welcome to Buffalo. Within a couple days, they had their elopement details secured. Complete with an officiant who was willing to hike with them to the top of the mountain they chose. And on Friday, October 12th, a little less than 7 weeks later, Lindsay and Joseph were married in their dreamlike elopement on Rocky Mountain in the Adirondacks, with a little rain for good luck, a little wind for photo op purposes and lots and lots of love.
Bottom line: It’s never too late to make your dream a reality. And especially when it comes to last minute elopements. We love helping our couples make their visions come to life and are willing to help scout locations, secure vendors and recommend places to stay!
