It is always such an honor to be a family photographer for past clients of ours. I first met the Klappers about 7 years ago when we met with them about photographing their wedding. Since that first meeting, we’ve photographed their engagement, wedding, expecting photos and photos of their eldest in the first months of her birth. They have now grown into a family of 5 (well, 6 as they just adopted a dog a few days after this session), and I couldn’t be more grateful that they still invite me to document their life.
In the last year I have been transitioning to photographing families on film and the Klappers we’re excited to be one of our families for the film marketing sessions we did earlier this year. Film has a more raw nature to it with blur and grain and I love it for the natural way it captures the world.
