We met up with Carolyn & Daniel in Chestnut Ridge Park for their winter engagement session and left with two new friends and an immense amazement for nature. We arrived and it was almost perfect winter shooting weather: 25 degrees, no wind, clean grey sky. As we strolled through the park, we got to know these two incredible souls and winter actually started to feel a little warmer to us. We almost finished the session when we decided to go take one last photo at the top of the sledding hill and that’s when the coolest thing happened. It started to snow. (Ok, we know, it’s buffalo. Of course it snows). But it wasn’t just any snow…it was snow perfect for photographing. Thick snowflakes falling at a fast pace quickly turned our clean grey sky into a real life snow globe. We all stood at the top of the hill looking out in awe, amazed at the luck and the beauty that we had stumbled upon. We had so much fun on this session & we’re beyond excited to share these moments with you.
